3 Year Old Preschool
Children are actively involved in a high-quality early childhood program relating to their individual needs and interests.
Children learn about themselves and their environment through a play-based program.

Eligibility
All children must turn 3 by 30 April in the year they start 3-year-old kindergarten.
Children are eligible for only one year of 3-year-old funded kindergarten. Please consider the age of your child when enrolling and the age they will be when they commence primary school after two years of kindergarten.
Children are only eligible for a second funded year of 4-year old kindergarten if they are assessed to have a developmental delay in two or more areas of their development.
Parents can apply for 3-year-old kinder from 1 May through Kingston Council the year prior to their child attending.

4-Year-Old Preschool
We believe that children learn and develop by engaging in stimulating play-based learning experiences.
Our 4-year-old program is developed using careful observations of the individual strengths, needs and interests of each child. It is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework which focuses on 5 key learning outcomes:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators
